IDEAL CAPTAIN ACTION & ACTION BOY
1st Series Reproduction Boxes

Available for $25.00 each
In 1966, the Ideal Toy Corporation debut the first Captain Action figures. I being 8 years old and a fan of Superman, Batman and many other superheroes, was ready to plop down the cash for this figure as well as purchasing many of the available costumes. I had already bought scads of GI JOE's and was ready for more powerful adventures. The GI JOE's became backup for all the superhero action, adding to the fight scenes and lending aid to the superheroes as needed. What other than a high-priced original box could add more to your collection than a quality, low-cost repro box, shrink-wrapped and begging for room on your display shelf. This box measures 13 X 5.5 X 2.35 inches and is very similar to Aurora size and priced as the other repro boxes. Looks great and at a glance cannot be discerned from the original Ideal box except for minor color enhancements and appearing brand new.
